Firebird vocalists give outstanding performance in Fairchild Challenge
Congratulations to Damaris Rubio, Suanay Hernandez, and Ivania Gutierrez, three music Performing Arts students who performed this Wednesday at the Fairchild Challenge. The original song composed by the Music Performing Arts class entitled "The River of Grass" was specially written for the Fairchild Challenge. They performed the song a capella in front of over 200 spectators and 15 participating schools. They received outstanding comments and points from the judges. They represented the music portion of the challenge organized in our school by Ms. Rawlings. This year our goal is to place as a school for activities in language arts, science, visual arts, and music.http://www.fairchildchallenge.org
