This is an excellent way to get organize and understand the roles, rules and responsibilities of a middle school.
6th Grade
- Get to know your teachers, counselors, and administrators.
- Learn the role, rules and responsibilities so you can follow them properly..
- Set high academic goals and maintain them.
- Be aware of our schedule “A” day and “B” day.
- Use an agenda for classrooms assignments
- Take good notes and follow up teachers requirements.
- Develop time management skills; be organized.
- Use a weekly progress report to keep you and your parent inform about your progress. You cal also visit the Student Portal to check on your grades
- Get involve in extra curricular activities. Try to join one of our clubs or after school sport programs.
- Keep parents involve in your school academic and social activities.
- Everything you do counts so make the most of all your opportunities
- Get into the school spirit! Go Firebirds!
7th Grade
- Follow up with school rules and policies.

- Keep in contact with your counselors to get information about high school classes and programs.
- Everything you do counts so make the most of all your opportunities

8th Grade
- Get ready for high school
- Maintain all the expectations of 6th and 7th grade.
- Make sure you have an ePEP account. Visit www.facts.org
- Keep accurate record of your credits for promotion to 9th grade; talk to your counselor.
- Learn about different high school diploma options and requirements; ask your counselor.
- Identify your high school graduation plan.
- Participate in all the 8th grade activities.
- Get into the school spirit! Enjoy your last year in middle school make sure you participate in everything. The memories you make today will carry on through the rest of your life. Go Firebirds!
